    Hi Neha, with the Partner Visa temporary application the Permanent Residency will follow automatically, and usually takes about 21-28 months from the day of application.

    Hi there,
    Thank you so much for writing this, especially the registering of the relationship! Has it worked out for you? Just a few questions if you don’t mind. I’m Australian and my boyfriend is English. We’ll have no evidence of living together as we have only travelled back and forth to visit each other. Will this be OK? 
    If we register our relationship, then apply for the partner visa 820 (to hopefully then be granted the 801), I read there’s a processing time of 20 months. Does that mean we dont hear anything and need to keep travelling back and forth for 20 months before we know if the temporary visa got accepted? Thank you!
